Our passion is pursuing God and his word.

What to Expect

Prayer - We truly believe James 5:16 when it says, “The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.” In the Lord’s church, we always start our studies and worship with prayer to our Lord and Savior. There is also an opportunity for you to write down your prayer requests on our TLC list (Tender Love & Care) or share your request with one of the members.

Singing - One of the first things you may notice is that everyone, young and old, singing together with joyful hearts unto God. Feel free to join us. Ephesians 5:19-20 says to address “one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody to the Lord with your heart, giving thanks always and for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Amen!

Preaching - In the Lord’s church, you will hear sound, Bible-based, Christ-centered lessons aimed at encouraging, edifying, convicting, and exhorting all those who hear. As Paul states, we are charged to “Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, and exhort with all long-suffering and teaching” (2 Timothy 4:1-2).

We pray you gain a new appreciation and desire for the all-sufficient Word of God!

Lord’s Supper - Every first day of the week when we come together, we partake of the bread and fruit of the vine just like the New Testament Christians did (Acts 20:7). This provides an opportunity for each Christian to remember our Lord’s sacrifice for us and “…proclaim the Lord’s death until He comes” (1 Corinthians 11:26).

Fellowship - One of the benefits of coming together is fellowshipping with like-minded brothers and sisters. You will find our congregation friendly and willing to help you in any way we can.

We truly believe that, “where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there in the midst of them” (Matthew 18:20).
